For more than 25 years, Hyundai Hope on Wheels has helped support the fight
against childhood cancer by funding pediatric cancer research and raising
awareness for children and families affected by the disease.

Fighting Childhood Cancer Since 1998

Hyundai Hope on Wheels began in 1998 when a group of Hyundai dealers came
together to support a local children’s hospital. Today, the program is
supported by Hyundai Motor America and more than 855 Hyundai dealers across
the United States.

Together, Hyundai and its dealer network have contributed more than
$300 million to pediatric cancer research and programs supporting children
and families affected by childhood cancer.

September Is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Each September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month brings additional attention
to the need for pediatric cancer research, treatment and support for children
and their families.

In 2026, Hyundai Hope on Wheels is continuing that mission through research
grants, awareness initiatives and the Miles for the Warriors Challenge.
Participants across the country can run, walk, wheel, bike, hike or swim as
part of a collective effort supporting the fight against childhood cancer.

Hyundai Hope on Wheels plans to award $26 million in grants during 2026 to
support pediatric cancer research, oncology programs and patient assistance.

The 2026 Miles for the Warriors Challenge provides another way for communities
to participate. When participants collectively reach 400,000 miles, Hyundai
will donate $1 million to Hyundai Hope on Wheels. If the challenge reaches
800,000 miles, Hyundai’s donation increases to $2 million.
